Group Assistant Accountant - £28,000 per year - Reading (Hybrid)

FryerMiles are delighted to be partnering with a leading global manufacturing business on their recruitment of a Group Assistant Accountant to join their team based in Reading, Berkshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring Accounts Assistant to gain experience supporting the financial accounting team in all aspects of the day-to-day finance processes for multiple operating entities and study their CIMA / ACCA with a global corporation that offers excellent career progression.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assist with administration of the key Balance Sheet functions, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Right of Use
• Assets, Intangible Assets.
• Process of employee expenses claims ensuring in line with Company policies.
• Support month-end reporting for multiple operating entities and consolidation reporting.
• Processing month-end journals such as additions, disposals and other movements.
• Update our internal systems to ensure accurate data is captured

Requirements:

• At least 1 year experience in Finance
• AAT Level 4 and willing to study towards CIMA/ACCA
• Experience in Month End Reporting, Journals and Reconciliations
• SAP experience is advantageous
• Intermediate level Excel required
