Group Finance Director

My client is a leading privately owned Motor Retail business, with over 10+ UK Dealerships (new and used) across the UK with a number of franchises.

As part of the companies continued growth both organic and via M&A with the FRS have been enlisted to assist with the recruitment of a high calibre and experience Group Finance Director / CFO to join the business.

Working closely with the Chairman and Group MD across the UK wide dealerships, this position can be based anywhere within the UK

The ideal candidate will be formally qualified with PQE, and prior experience gained within Motor Retail in a senior finance capacity.

This employer has a well-established team of operational financial controllers at site / dealership level therefore enabling the successful candidate to focus more on commercial value add and strategic growth.

Prior experience operating at Finance Director or CFO level is essential, with demonstrated exposure in the below areas:

- Cash and Working Capital Management

- Business Analysis and Improvement

- Cost Reduction

- Acquisitions and Disposals

- Strategic Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting and KPI's

- Raising Funds and negotiating banking arrangements
