A flexible and continuously growing professional services business is recruiting a Group Finance Manager to lead day-to-day finance operations across the UK and international entities. This is a broad and hands-on role, ideally suited to a qualified (or QBE) finance professional looking to play a central part in a commercially driven, cooperative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily finance operations across the Group.
• Consolidate and produce monthly management accounts for multiple entities.
• Partner with the CFO to deliver insightful analysis and support strategic decision-making.
• Work closely with business unit leaders to analyse divisional performance and support growth.
• Oversee the interim payment process, including payroll coordination, client invoicing, forecasting, and external provider liaison.
• Review and enhance financial processes and controls.
• Manage credit control across the Group
• Run invoicing processes and ensure timely and accurate billing.
• Oversee invoice discounting arrangements and complete bank reconciliations.
• Support internal presentations and reporting cycles.
• Submit VAT returns and quarterly HMRC reports.
• Reconcile balance sheets and maintain ledgers for all group entities.
• Lead ad hoc finance projects and initiatives as the business evolves.

About You

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or QBE with strong experience).
• Technically strong, with a well-rounded understanding of the finance function.
• Commercially minded and able to partner effectively across all levels of the business.
• Proven ability to streamline processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Confident managing multiple priorities in a busy environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with accounting systems (QuickBooks ideal).
• Comfortable working with sales or commercial teams.
• Trustworthy, proactive, and follow through
