Group Finance Manager - HYBRID 40 home working

Marks Sattin are delighted to be working with this hugely acquisitive international SME based in Lancashire who are searching for a Group Accountant/Finance Manager.

Reporting to an exceptional, newly appointed CFO, this is a brand new role created to manage the planned growth, establish financial controls and processes and oversee all group finance activity.

Short term, the role will be very heavily involved in integrating a new (overseas) acquisition to the group, furthermore ensuring that all financial processes are robust to ensure a seamless transition. Longer term this will then evolve into a more commercial opportunity, to include business partnering and FP&A whilst retaining full oversight over the day to day financial operations.

The successful candidate will be a technically minded Qualified Accountant, ideally with experience in both practice and industry who is ready to take the next step into a leadership role, overseeing a small team and being pivotal to the future development of the finance function. Strong Excel skills (modelling) are a must, and any exposure to Business Central will also be a huge advantage.
