• Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Manage a team of junior accountants and financial professionals
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial legislation and standards
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations
• Conduct regular audits and identify areas for financial improvement
• Prepare and present financial forecasts to senior management
• Lead the budget planning process and monitor financial performance
• Implement effective strategies to optimise financial health and sustainability

Profile

A successful Group Accountant should have:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and financial management principles
• Experience with consolidating accounts.
• Previous experience in working within a PLC.
