Group Financial Accountant

Currently working with a global automotive brand in Leicestershire to find a Group Financial Accountant. Working with the team at the Global Head Office, you will manage all aspects of accounting, group reporting, forecasting and financial strategy as well a large proportion of your time completing project work.

As Group Financial Accountant you will be responsible for -

• Group reporting consolidation, management accounts, statutory accounts, budgets & forecasts
• Ensure global tax reporting requirements, including transfer pricing
• Complete statutory accounts for the UK companies and group
• Ensure compliance with changes to statutory reporting requirements relevant to a privately owned multinational group.
• Drive projects across teams, communicating clearly often with teams whose first language may not be English.
• Present audit results to stakeholders including CFO

To be successful in the role of Group Financial Accountant, the ideal candidate will offer the following skills:

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar professional accountancy qualifications
• Exposure to global tax compliance would be beneficial.
• Big 4 background or experience of a multi-country manufacturing business
• Ability to successfully deliver concurrent projects.
• Understanding of the principles of financial consolidation
