Group Financial Accountant

Your new company
Hays Senior Finance are working with a leading service provider in Lincoln to recruit a Group Financial Accountant.
Your new role
You will be responsible for a wide range of technical financial accounting tasks, including; group statutory accounts, producing annual reports, responsibility for the external audit, group consolidations, reporting, UK GAAP, FRS102, balance sheet, cashflow, group corporation tax return as well as more ad hoc work around process improvements and acquisitions project work.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) with proven experience in financial and statutory accounting, including consolidations, audit, tax, reporting and of working in a group setting. Experience of FRS102/UK GAAP and the not-for-profit sector are highly desirable, as is experience of process improvement, systems implementation and acquisitions. The role would suit a first mover from practice or a technical accountant in industry or public sector. The role will involve a small element of UK travel, offers hybrid working (2 days a week in the office).
