We are exclusively retained to find 2 Group Financial Accountants for a Global business based in Nottinghamshire. The role will give you exposure to a wide range of responsibilities, different entities and a vast array of stakeholders.

These positions are highly technical and would suit a candidate coming from Practice. If you are looking for your first move into Industry as a Group Financial Accountant then these roles are probably some of the best on offer in the East Midlands.

Role Purpose:
In these key positions, you will ensure the delivery of accurate and timely financial information for both internal and external stakeholders, including the Director of Financial Control, CFO, and Board of Directors. Your expertise will guide the monthly group consolidation and all external statutory reporting for their multinational group.

Key Responsibilities

• Ownership of financial accounting and monthly reporting for the Group’s parent company
• Oversight of Group investment balances, including accounting for JVs and associates
• Delivery of the monthly capital expenditure board pack, liaising with divisions
• Management of Group balance sheet reconciliations (fixed assets, provisions, tax)
• Support the Annual Report & Accounts and half-year reporting
• Act as a key audit contact, delivering timely, accurate audit materials
• Contribute to technical accounting assessments alongside Group Technical Accounting
• Provide Group-level oversight on divisional accounting queries
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and controls
