Group FD

This is a 12 to 18 month fixed-term contract at the heart of a business in transition. You won't be keeping the lights on. You'll be building the foundations everything else will stand on, and you'll be able to point to them when you leave.

What you'll be working on

• The major reconciliations project. Bringing order and control to a complex, multi-entity landscape.


• Overhauling monthly management reporting. Giving leadership numbers they can trust and act on.


• M&A and transaction work, including divestments. Being part of the deals that shape the group's future.


• International and multi-entity complexity. Navigating different jurisdictions, structures and requirements.


• Joining up disparate systems. Creating one reliable version of the truth.

Is this you?

You've worked in complex, multi-entity businesses, and ideally you've been an owner-manager or worked close to one. You're commercially minded and thick-skinned, and you'd rather get stuck into a messy situation than wait for a perfect one.

You're also:

• A proven plate-spinner. You can show us a time when reconciliations, reporting and a deal were all live at once, and you kept them all in the air.


• Energised by change. When priorities shift, you see opportunity, not disruption.


• Comfortable giving feedback. You'll challenge, respectfully and constructively.


• Just as comfortable receiving it. You take it on board and improve.


• CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified
