Group Financial Controller – Strategic, Hands-On, Growth-Focused - South Yorkshire

Elevation are delighted to be working exclusively with a dynamic, entrepreneurial business rooted in the FMCG and manufacturing sectors, who have made bold strategic moves into the renewable energy space. As they continue to scale, they’re looking for a commercially minded Group Financial Controller to join their senior team and play a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of growth.

This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for overseeing the full finance function - managing transactional finance, statutory reporting, audit, and financial controls – whilst also supporting strategic planning, forecasting, and investment decisions. The successful candidate will work closely with the CFO and senior stakeholders across the group.

This is more than your usual GFC finance role – it’s a chance to join a business undergoing transformation and have a varied role that makes a real impact. We are looking for a practice trained finance leader, who has strong experience in accounting and controls – but has a desire and interest to drive their next move into a wider and more operationally focused direction. You’ll have a resilient and operationally focused mindset, and someone who can drive forward change in a progressive business. You’ll enjoy working at pace and be someone who develops individuals and systems.

You’ll be working for an excellent CFO who will be able to develop your skills further – and a strong package is on offer.
