You’ll be the right hand to the CFO — and a key driver of financial control across one of Malta’s most prominent groups.

Having grown 25% year on year, and with no plans to slow down, this group is looking for their first Group Financial Controller to lead on all things technical.

As Group Financial Controller, you will have a strong technical background where you will take charge of group-wide reporting, tax strategy, treasury, and audits. You’ll lead the numbers, and the people behind them, to make sure the Group stays financially tight and compliant.

What you'll actually do:

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated reports across all group entities.
• Keep everything in line with IFRS and all local regulations.
• Build and maintain group consolidation systems that can scale.
• Lead tax compliance across the board and keep the Group lean, legal, and efficient.
• Manage liquidity, working capital, funding, and bank relationships like a pro.
• Coordinate audits, close gaps, and raise the bar on internal controls.
• Develop and lead a central finance team that others want to work with.

What we're looking for:

• A qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA).
• You will have experience running group-level finance in a multi-entity setup.
• Strong technical knowledge across consolidation, tax, treasury, audit.
• Strong IFRS understanding and local compliance know-how.
• Bonus points for experience with NetSuite.
• Someone who leads with clarity and calm, even in high-pace environments.
