This group of three established, growing businesses needs a strong Group Financial Controller to keep the numbers sharp, the strategy focused, and the senior team accountable.

This isn't about firefighting or fixing a mess - the basics are in place. What they need now is someone who can bring rigour, insight, and leadership to a finance function that supports real growth.

You'll be right at the heart of the operation - reporting directly to the board, leading a team, and making sure financial operations are watertight and forward-looking.

Yes, the reporting and compliance piece is important. But you'll also be expected to step up commercially - shaping budgets, challenging assumptions, and helping the business make smarter decisions.

* Preparing and analysing monthly, quarterly and annual group reports
* Leading budgeting and forecasting cycles
* Partnering with department heads to drive financial performance
* Supporting decision-making with strong commercial analysis
* Managing risk, compliance, and treasury
* Leading and developing a capable finance team
* Driving working capital and cash improvements
* Supporting M&A and due diligence when required
* Tightening internal controls and improving processes
* You'll be in the detail, but not buried in it - this is a leadership role, not a spreadsheet trap.

* Up to £65,000 salary

* CIMA qualified (essential)
* Experience of working in financial leadership roles
* Confident balancing technical accounting and commercial input
