Group Financial Controller - Manchester City Centre - Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the UK Financial Reporting team, encompassing Financial Reporting, Treasury, and Accounts Receivable.
• Oversee the Finance Shared Service Centre in Pakistan, including Management Accounts, Accounts Payable, Cash & Banking, and Finance System Administration.
• Deliver accurate monthly management reports with comprehensive commentary on variances compared to forecasts and previous years.
• Ensure meticulous statutory reporting for approximately 20 trading entities, including the Group Consolidated Financial Statements.
• Direct the External Audit process, coordinating efforts between UK and Pakistan teams to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• A recognised qualification in Finance (ACA, ACCA).
• Extensive experience in financial management, reporting, and auditing within a similar role.
• Proven leadership skills, with experience managing diverse teams across multiple locations.
• Strong understanding of tax matters, including Corporate Tax, Employment Taxes, and VAT.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly to stakeholders.
