Job Description - Group Financial Controller

Our Client and the Role

I'm recruiting for a fantastic Financial Director role on behalf of a dynamic client based in Watford. This position works closely with an experienced CFO and offers significant exposure to strategic decision-making.

Great opportunity for someone looking to for progression into a Finance Director position and make their mark in a fast-paced environment.

Main Duties

Lead the consolidation and reporting of group financials, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and insightful analysis across all entities
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, partnering with the CFO and leadership to support strategic growth
Provide technical accounting expertise, drawing on audit background to maintain rigour in reporting and compliance
Act as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and tax advisors
Develop and implement robust financial controls and processes across the group, working closely with the Financial Controller on day-to-day finance operations
Support commercial decision-making through financial modelling, scenario planning, and board reporting

The Successful Candidate

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
Strong audit background
Experience as a Group Financial Controller or in a Senior Finance role
Confident team leader with strong commercial awareness
Excellent stakeholder and communication skills

What’s on Offer?

Salary range £90,000 - £100,000
