Group Financial Controller

An international, high-growth technology business is looking for an experienced and hands-on Group Financial Controller to lead its financial operations and reporting across a growing portfolio of global entities. With strong investor backing and a recurring revenue model, the company is entering its next phase of scale and is building out a best-in-class finance function to support this.

This is a key hire that will take ownership of group reporting, technical accounting, and compliance, while driving process improvement and supporting strategic initiatives at the leadership level.

Key Responsibilities

• Own monthly group consolidation and financial reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
• Ensure full compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and local statutory reporting requirements.
• Lead all aspects of revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and accrued income (IFRS 15)
• Implement and maintain ERP systems , driving automation and scalability.
• Oversee tax compliance, filings, and transfer pricing across entities.
• Manage external audits and liaise with advisors to deliver clean and timely financial statements.
• Act as a mentor to one direct report, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
• Drive continual improvements in processes, controls, and policies to support a scaling business.

Requirements

• ACA qualified, with financial reporting and controls experience.
• Experience working in a multi-entity SaaS, tech, or AI business
• Solid understanding of IFRS, US GAAP, and revenue recognition in recurring revenue models.
• Exposure to multi-currency consolidations and international operations.
• Proven track record implementing and improving ERP systems.
• Strong technical knowledge of tax, transfer pricing, and compliance frameworks.
