Job Description - Group Financial Controller

Axon Moore are excited to be partnered with a high growth Industrials business who are in the midst of a transformative period and require a technically proficient Group Financial Controller to act as number 1 in finance. As Group Financial Controller you will be responsible for ensuring a compliant and fit for purpose finance function whilst overseeing the international element of our client. This role will eventually grow into a Finance Director position and you will also play a part in developing the finance team out.

The Role

Ensuring a fit for purpose finance function in line with business growth
Oversight of international consolidations
Ownership of statutory reporting
Leading the annual audit process
Exposure to reporting under IFRS
Preparing monthly board packs including commentary
Business partnering with the rest of the board on strategic initiatives
Leading the budgeting and forecasting processes

The Person

Qualified Accountant, ideally practice trained (ACA, ACCA)
Strong commercial awareness
Experience of working in an international business
Leadership qualities, able to lead and develop a junior team
Comfortable in a fast paced business
Ambitious, keen to learn and progress
