Group Financial Controller

Fin Search are recruiting a Group Financial Controller on a permanent basis for a leading North Yorkshire based business.

The business is operating a hybrid working model - 2/3 days in the office and 2/3 days at home.

As the Group Financial Controller, this role will report in to the CFO, responsible for ensuring robust financial controls across the business are complied with to include management accounting, financial accounting, credit control and purchase ledger.

Duties will include, however are not limited to, responsibility for the month end closure across management accounts and group reporting to include P&L, Balance Sheet and cashflow, ensure financial controls are adhered to and met, providing leadership, supervision and development of the finance team, ensure external reporting requirements are met to include VAT and PAYE, cashflow forecasting and overseeing the annual statutory audit.

The successful candidate will:

• Be ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified
• Have worked in a similar role previously
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate communicating at all levels
• Have excellent IT skills
