Salary: £130,000 - £140,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Are you an ACA-qualified finance leader with PLC experience looking to step into a high-impact Group Financial Controller role? We’re working with a leading FTSE-listed media and entertainment company on a key hire within their Group Finance function - a rare opportunity to join a dynamic business at the heart of global content, digital media, and entertainment.

As Group Financial Controller, you will lead all aspects of group financial reporting and technical accounting, managing the consolidated accounts and ensuring robust financial governance across a complex, fast-paced organisation.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading the monthly and annual consolidation of group accounts under IFRS

• Owning the external reporting process including interim and annual reports

• Acting as a key liaison for external auditors and ensuring audit readiness

• Partnering with Group FP&A and Investor Relations to support external messaging

• Supporting the CFO and Group Finance leadership team on technical accounting matters, policy development, and ad hoc strategic finance projects

• Leading and developing a high-calibre team across Group Reporting and Controls

• Driving continuous improvement and finance transformation initiatives

• ACA qualified, ideally trained in a Big 4 accounting firm

• Significant experience in a listed or complex multinational group, ideally FTSE

• Strong understanding of IFRS and group reporting in a public company environment

• Skilled in managing audits, statutory reporting, and external financial communications

• Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement skills

• A strong communicator with commercial acumen and attention to detail

• Exposure to the media, entertainment, or digital sectors is desirable but not essential
