Group Financial Director

A new exclusive opportunity, we are looking for a commercially focused Group Financial Director to join a successful privately owned group of companies based in Bradford, with a turnover of £20m. This is a key leadership role, reporting directly to the owners, with wide-ranging responsibility across all financial, commercial and operational aspects of the group.

The Role Includes:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
• Cashflow management, forecasting and oversight of funding requirements (loans, overdrafts, leases)
• Managing foreign currency purchases, forward contracts, and supplier payments in multiple currencies
• Company secretarial duties, compliance and governance
• Overseeing intercompany transactions and recharges
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Managing Sage 200, Sage CRM and MS Office systems
• Oversight of insurances, utilities and fleet management
• Supporting capital expenditure projects and property management
• Identifying and securing grant funding and R&D tax credits
• Managing construction project finances and cost controls
• Liaison with external auditors and professional advisors
