Group FP&A Manager | c.£70,000 - £80,000 | Birchwood | Private Equity Backed Business | Business Sale on the Horizon

Axon Moore is delighted to be working with a new client in Birchwood, a Private Equity Backed business who are planning to go through an exit in the next few years.

This is a complex and multi-faceted business with different service lines, divisions and products. They're highly acquisitive and continue to bolt-on new businesses around the UK.

I am working with the Group CFO to find an FP&A lead for the business. It will be titled Group FP&A Manager to begin with, but will progress to Head of FP&A in title as the role expands.

The main mandate of the role is to build a business model for the group with a fully integrated balance sheet, P&L and cash-flow model. Beyond this, the FP&A Lead will be responsible for collaborating with external advisors in the preparatory phase of readying the business for sale in a few years time.

The main pre-requisites are:

• A fully qualified candidate (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Strong financial modelling experience
• Ideally exposure to private equity or an environment that has experienced M&A

This will be an excellent career move for a candidate looking to capitalise on a very progressive role within private equity.
