Group Head of Financial Planning and Analysis

A medium sized multinational communications business is seeking a Group Head of Financial Planning and Analysis.

With revenue of circa $150m, the role is based at the head office in North London and will report to the Group CFO. Ownership of groups financial information, its preparation, analysis and reporting which would include:

Management and oversight of monthly consolidation for multi-currency overseas subsidiaries into Group Accounts
Review, variance analysis and commentary on both subsidiary and consolidated monthly results.
Oversight and supervision of local entities FC’s to ensure delivery of monthly reporting packs in a timely and accurate basis
Submission of group monthly accounts to holding company with commentary – including cash flows and forecasts
Work with the COO and CFO to build year-end budgets, working with the Country Managers to ensure robustness of data.
Lead group financial year end reporting preparation of group consolidated results, management of the local FC ensure delivery of group results within reporting deadlines.
Leading any Finance systems enhancements, setting and delivering project scope.
Providing training and support to users of Finance software and managing and overseeing IT systems

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent with at least 10-15 years’ experience with international multi-currency groups. Excellent communication skills to work with leadership teams based in overseas entities are essential and is the ability to build relationships and rapport with internal and external stakeholders of all levels.

You will be driven and focussed on continuous process improvement, with experience using ERP systems, their implementation, and improvements.
