£60,000 + £5,000 car allowance or company car

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Group HSE Manager to lead Health, Safety and Environmental standards across our Group.

Based at our Tividale Head Office, you will have your own office and the autonomy to manage your diary and working hours. The role involves regular travel across our sites in the North West, East Midlands, Heathrow and Midlands.

This is a hands-on, high-profile role working closely with operational teams, engineering and senior management to drive continuous improvement and develop a strong, positive safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and continually improve Group HSE policies, procedures and strategy.
Conduct site, Driver and Engineering audits, accident investigations and risk assessments.
Monitor Operator Licence, DVSA and vehicle compliance, including PMI and maintenance standards.
Produce HSE and compliance KPI reports and drive corrective actions.
Provide practical HSE advice and training across all levels of the business.
Manage the Group Engineering and H&S Auditor.
Ensure equipment, workshops and operations meet legal and Company requirements.
Support claims management and ensure best practice across the Group.

About You

Ideally, you will have experience in PSV/bus, HGV, transport, logistics, engineering, manufacturing or workshop environments, together with previous HSE management experience.
NEBOSH Diploma and Tech/Grad IOSH are desirable but not essential.
We are looking for someone who is technically strong, proactive, resilient and confident, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. You will be practical and solutions-focused, comfortable challenging unsafe practices and able to influence people at every level.

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel are essential.
