Michael Page Engineering & Manufacturing are currently recruiting a Group HSEQ Manager for an international manufacturing business whose head office is based in Sheffield. This company has grown significantly in recent years and they are looking for a proven SHEQ leader to join their senior leadership team to help them as they continue on this journey.

Description

This is a H&S biased SHEQ Manager position and will have responsibilities across 6 sites for all health, safety, environmental and quality matters within the group.

Other day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Managing a multi-site team of SHEQ professionals
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and accreditations
• Championing safety as the company's highest priority and demonstrating activities to support this
• Controlling the document management and quality management systems
• Providing reports as required to show trends and improve target levels
• Promoting and supporting continuous improvements in SHEQ performance across all aspects of the business

Profile

Successful candidates will have a strong safety background with an understanding of HSEQ and team management. You will also possess:

• Proven experience in a similar SHEQ leader role
• Successful track record in managing people, systems and processes
• Legal compliance knowledge, system knowledge and qualification expertise
• An innovative and customer focussed approach
• Strong communication skills at all levels of the business, including board level
• Continuous improvement mindset and a driven personality
