We are thrilled to be working with a huge international business headquartered in Birmingham, looking for a Group Internal Auditor to join their dynamic internal audit team. This is an exciting opportunity offering genuine long-term progression internally into either leadership or broader finance roles.

This is a standout opportunity for a practice-trained ACA or ACCA qualified auditor looking to transition into a commercial role with global exposure. You'll be travelling to sites across various countries gaining an in-depth view of how a world-class group operates.

This role comes with an annual salary circa £55,000.00.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering internal audit fieldwork across UK and international subsidiaries, covering financial and IT controls
• Preparing and presenting clear audit reports with actionable recommendations to Group leadership, including Risk and Audit Committees
• Partnering with operations teams on special projects such as Product Compliance, Supply Chain audits, and Inventory controls
• Supporting the roll out of a new Risk Management system, working closely with cross-functional teams
• Reviewing whistleblowing cases with professionalism and confidentiality
• Designing and strengthening internal financial controls, then tracking implementation across the Group
• Contributing to internal training initiatives, including support for ICAEW trainees

Candidate Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

• ACA or ACCA qualified (ideally practice trained)
• Strong understanding of financial controls, audit methodology, and risk frameworks
• Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and collaborating across departments
• Willingness to travel internationally (expenses covered)
• Someone with the drive to progress - this business promotes from within
