About the Company

Auxitrol Weston is a global aerospace manufacturer specialising in temperature, speed and pressure sensors for gas turbine and airframe applications. Based in Farnborough, the site employs approximately 175 people and supports a range of aerospace and airframe applications.

The Role

As a Group Leader Production, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of multiple production teams or cells, ensuring performance targets are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and support Team Leaders and production operators across multiple cells.

* Monitor safety, quality, cost and delivery performance.

* Track TAKT time, production boards and hourly output, taking corrective action where required.

* Drive 5S, Lean manufacturing, waste reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.

* Ensure standard work, processes and documentation are followed.

* Manage non-conformances and support corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

* Coordinate capacity planning, manpower allocation, maintenance and production resources.

* Support operator training, cross-training and performance management.

* Work closely with planning, maintenance, quality and other support functions.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

* At least 12 months' experience managing a team within a manufacturing environment.

* Strong production leadership and problem-solving skills.

* Experience with 5S, TAKT, Lean and continuous improvement.

* Experience managing quality issues and corrective actions.

* Excellent communication and organisational skills.

* The ability to remain composed and make effective decisions under pressure
