Group Management Accountant

The Group Management Accountant role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the Accounting & Finance department within the insurance industry. Description

• Preparation of monthly management accounts for group entities
• Consolidation of group results and preparation of group-level reporting
• Assist in the development of monthly board packs and financial reports for stakeholders
• Variance analysis and commentary against budgets and forecasts
• Support the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting processes
• Liaise with regional finance teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of reporting
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and support audit preparation and year-end processes
• Provide financial analysis to support strategic projects, acquisitions, and performance reviews
• Maintain and develop internal financial controls and systems

Profile

A successful MA/FA should have:

• ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualified.
• Extensive knowledge of financial management and reporting practices.
• Experience working within the insurance industry is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
