Group Management Accountant

A global manufacturing organisation based in Gloucester is currently recruiting a Group Management Accountant to join their team.

Working for a growing business that has recently been involved in an MBO, this is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to further their career within this field. The package includes up to 15% bonus and car allowance.

Duties will include:

• Lead and manage a team of 6 qualified and part-qualified accountants
• Oversee and review month end closure, presenting to Head of Finance
• Review existing processes, encouraging and implementing continuous improvements within the department
• Support analysts with forecasting/reforecasting and budget setting process
• Reviewing of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• KPI setting and reporting

The successful candidate will hold a professional accountancy qualification and have previous team leadership experience. Excellent analytical skills are also essential, previous manufacturing experience desirable.
