Group Reporting Accountant

A great opportunity to join a leading Energy company as Group Reporting Accountant on a 12 month contract basis. Based in London, the role will support the preparation of Group consolidated accounts.

A great opportunity to join a leading Energy company as Group Reporting Accountant on a 12 month contract basis. Based in London, the role will support the preparation of Group consolidated accounts.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading timely delivery of Statutory accounts
• Leading project reporting
• Maintaining Intercompany reporting
• Analysing working capital
• Working closely with external auditors and supporting annual audit process
• Improving financial reporting systems and processes
• Supporting implementation of new accounting policies and procedures
• Ad hoc reporting as required

The candidate:

• Qualified accountant, ideally practice trained
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience working on Group consolidations
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and produce high quality results
• Advanced IT skills
