Group Reporting Manager | Central Manchester (Hybrid) | Excellent Package! - ACA/ACCA Top 10 Audit background 

- £65,000 - £70,000 + up to 20% bonus
- 2 to 3 days in the office
- up to 8% pension pension

Axon Moore are seeking a technically strong ACA/ACCA qualified accountant to join a hugely market leading AIM listed business based in central Manchester.

The role could be suited to a 1st or 2nd time mover from audit ideally with a Big 4/Top 10 practice background, where you'll act as a number 2 to the Group FC playing a key part in managing the external audit relationship, produce month-end reporting for several entities including supporting in the Group consolidation, statutory accounts, cash flow forecasting etc.

Responsibilities include:

• Monthly and year end consolidation, including responsibility over statutory and consolidation adjustments
• Supporting the delivery and completion of the annual budget and 5-year plan
• Drive the production of the group’s annual and half year reporting
• Leading the production and oversight of monthly group reporting
• Take a lead in delivering the internal audit programme, including planning and co-ordinating an internal team to work with the local businesses
• Cash flow forecasting
• Oversight over key technical areas of group reporting, including IFRS 16, Pensions, Derivatives, Fixed and Intangible assets and Share Options
• Proactively managing the year end audit, ensuring that all deliverables are provided in line with agreed deadlines and acting as key point of contact for the auditors

Ideal candidate:

• ACA/ACCA Qualified with several years PQE 
• 1st or 2nd time mover from Big 4/Top 10 audit 
• Technical capability in the areas of reporting compliance and internal control
