Group Social Media & Entertainment Manager

Job Description - Group Social Media & Entertainment Manager

GROUP SOCIAL MEDIA & ENTERTAINMENT MANAGER

Location: Peterborough – Office Based With Regular Travel To
Our Norfolk Hospitality Venues

Hours: Full Time

Salary: Competitive - Dependent on Experience

Join the Jaydee Brook Team

Jaydee Brook is looking for a creative, energetic and commercially focused Group Social Media & Entertainment Manager to join our team.

Based at our Peterborough office, this is a varied group-wide position with responsibility for the social media presence of Jaydee Brook itself, as well as our hospitality venues in Norfolk.

The role also has an important operational element. Working closely with the General Manager in Norfolk, you will be responsible for developing, booking, promoting and managing the entertainment programme across our Norfolk hospitality venues.

We're looking for someone who can combine creativity with organisation – someone who can create great content and build our online presence, but who is equally comfortable picking up the phone to entertainers, negotiating bookings, organising an entertainment calendar and making sure events are properly promoted and delivered.

While Peterborough will be your main office base, regular travel to Norfolk will be an essential part of the role. You'll need to spend time in our venues, understand their customers, work alongside the operational teams, capture authentic content and be present for selected events.

Social Media & Marketing

You will take ownership of social media across the group, including both Jaydee Brook's corporate social media presence and the individual social channels of our Norfolk hospitality venues.

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing and developing Jaydee Brook's social media channels, ensuring they professionally represent the business, its people projects, activities and achievements

• Managing the social media presence of our Norfolk hospitality venues

• Creating and maintaining structured social media and content calendars

• Creating engaging photography, video, Reels and short-form content

• Regularly visiting our Norfolk venues to capture fresh, authentic content

• Creating content that reflects the individual personality and customer base of each venue

• Developing campaigns to increase brand awareness, engagement, bookings and customer footfall

• Promoting entertainment, events, food and drink, special offers, seasonal activity and key trading periods

• Identifying stories, projects and developments from across Jaydee Brook that can be turned into engaging corporate social content

• Ensuring a professional and consistent standard across all group social channels

• Responding to and engaging with our online communities

• Keeping up to date with social media trends and identifying opportunities to use them effectively

• Monitoring social media performance and using results to continually improve our content and campaigns

Entertainment Management

A significant part of this position will be taking responsibility for the entertainment programme across our Norfolk hospitality venues.

Working in partnership with the General Manager in Norfolk, you will help create an entertainment calendar that attracts customers, builds repeat visits and supports the commercial objectives of each venue.

You will be expected to:

• Work with the General Manager to develop the entertainment strategy and calendar for each Norfolk venue

• Source, contact and book entertainment, including DJs, live musicians, singers, performers and other suitable acts

• Build and maintain a strong database of reliable entertainers, agents and suppliers

• Negotiate availability, dates and fees within agreed budgets

• Coordinate bookings and ensure performers have the information they need ahead of each event

• Maintain an organised forward entertainment calendar, avoiding last-minute booking wherever possible

• Identify new entertainment concepts, themed nights and events that could increase footfall and revenue

• Work with the General Manager to understand which events are performing well and where the programme can be improved

• Ensure entertainment bookings are commercially sensible and appropriate for each venue and its customers

• Coordinate the marketing and social media promotion of every event

• Produce content before, during and after key events to maximise their marketing value

• Attend selected events, including some evenings and weekends, to support delivery and capture content

• Develop relationships with local performers, entertainment providers, businesses and potential promotional partners

• Review the success of events and use customer response, attendance and commercial results to help shape future bookings

This is not simply an administrative role for existing entertainment bookings. We want the successful candidate to actively find, book and develop entertainment opportunities, working closely with the Norfolk General Manager to build a strong and successful programme.

Working Across the Business

Communication will be a key part of the position.

You will be based at the Jaydee Brook office in Peterborough, where you will work with the wider business to understand what we should be communicating through our corporate social channels.

At the same time, you will build a close working relationship with the General Manager and operational teams in Norfolk, ensuring that social media, marketing and entertainment activity supports what is happening within the venues.

You will need to be comfortable managing your own diary and balancing time between Peterborough and Norfolk.

Who We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is creative, confident, organised and commercially aware, with the personality to build relationships both online and face-to-face.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Experience in social media, digital marketing, hospitality, events or entertainment

• A strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and emerging social platforms

• Confidence creating engaging short-form video and social-first content

• A good eye for photography, video and visual presentation

• Strong copywriting and communication skills

• The confidence to contact, negotiate with and book entertainers and suppliers

• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage an entertainment calendar well in advance

• The ability to manage multiple social media accounts, brands and priorities

• A commercial mindset and an understanding that successful social media and entertainment should ultimately help drive awareness, enquiries, bookings, footfall and revenue

• Confidence working independently while collaborating closely with senior management and venue teams

• A proactive approach – someone who doesn't wait to be given every idea but actively looks for new opportunities

• The flexibility to travel regularly between Peterborough and Norfolk

• The flexibility to attend selected evening and weekend events when required

Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite or similar content creation tools would be advantageous.

Due to the travel required between Peterborough and our Norfolk venues, a full UK driving licence is required and access to a vehicle will be available.

What We Offer

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a highly visible role across a diverse and growing business.

You will have the freedom to bring forward ideas, develop our brands, grow our audiences and play a direct role in shaping the entertainment programme and customer experience across our hospitality venues.

We don't simply want someone to maintain our existing social media accounts. We want someone who can develop them, grow them and give people a reason to engage with our businesses.

Equally, we want someone who can work alongside our Norfolk General Manager to build an entertainment programme that gives customers a reason to visit, stay longer and come back again.

If you love social media, understand hospitality, enjoy creating great content and have the organisational ability to turn ideas into successful events and campaigns, we'd love to hear from you.

Based: Jaydee Brook, Peterborough, with regular travel to our hospitality venues in Norfolk.

To apply: Please send your CV along with a short introduction explaining why you'd be a great fit for the role. We'd also love to see examples of social media accounts, content, campaigns, entertainment programmes or events you've previously worked on
