Our client is seeking a Group Systems Accountant to play a pivotal role in their rapidly expanding business. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of the initial implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, acting as a super user and key point of contact within the organisation. Post-implementation, you will take on a critical role in designing, analysing, and reviewing all financial systems, practices, and policies to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities of the Group Systems Accountant

• Assist with the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central alongside external consultants and internal finance teams.
• Act as a super user within the business for the implementation of Business Central.
• Design, analyse and review all financial systems, practices, and policies post-implementation.
• Lead system enhancements, support configuration changes and review new features.
• Administer, manage, maintain, and update all system configuration and administrative settings across all BC entities.
• Enforce governance and controls across all finance systems and processes.

What the successful candidate will bring

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is preferred but Navision experience will also suffice. Ability to communicate effectively demonstrating emotional intelligence skills.
• Capability to convey points clearly to both finance and non-finance colleagues.
• Ability to operate on own initiative being proactive in approach.
• Attention to detail with high standards of delivery.
