Group Tax Manager - International Tax

We are seeking a resourceful and detail-oriented Tax Manager for a thriving business based near Bristol. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all tax-related activities to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, this will include, Corporate Tax, Indirect Tax with some M&A tax too

Description

• Tax Planning - Partner with advisors, local finance teams and Group finance and legal colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes of planning initiatives and tax projects.
• M&A support - provide input to the Group M&A team on the tax implications
• UK Tax - Preparation of UK corporation tax computations
• International Tax - Maintenance of all transfer pricing agreements including local and master files.
• Tax reporting - Quarterly reports to senior management and the board. Introduction and development of individual entity tax reporting packs
• Indirect Tax - Act in an advisory capacity for indirect taxes on an international scale,

Profile

A successful Tax Manager should have:

• A professional certification (e.g. CTA, ACCA, ACA)
• Proven experience as a Tax Manager (or Corporate Tax Manager)
• Working within a top tier accountancy practice will be advantageous
• Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns
• Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Job Offer
