Group Tax Manager - UK

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Tax Manager in our tax department, who will lead the tax planning and compliance efforts for our esteemed retail organisation based in Wiltshire.

With a network of stores spread across the country, they are dedicated to providing a comprehensive range of products to their loyal customers, where their are looking to enhance their high street presence even further

Description

• Manage and coordinate UK tax planning and compliance for the retail organisation
• Ensure accurate, timely filing of tax returns and other business-related filings
• Find and implement opportunities for tax optimisation within the company
• Manage and coordinate audits by external agencies
• Stay up-to-date with the latest tax law changes
• Advise management on the impact of new laws on tax liabilities
• Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes
• Collaborate with accounting and finance department to ensure accurate financial reporting

Profile

A successful Group Tax Manager should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Proven experience in a similar role within the retail industry
• Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations
• Familiarity with accounting and tax software
• Excellent analytical and time management skills
• Strong leadership and managerial skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Offer

• A competitive salary in the region of £65,000 to £70,000
