Who will you work with?
Operating throughout the UK and reporting to the Group Training and Development and Apprentice Director you’ll work day to day with our HR Teams, Directors, Department Heads, Fabrication Managers and Project Managers as well as 3rd party suppliers.
So what will you do?
Learning Strategy, you’ll develop and execute the overall T&D strategy ensuring that it is aligned with the Group and the goals of each facility
Training Programs, you will design and implement engaging training programs across the group that improve employee skills, performance, and leadership capabilities and underpin our safety first culture
Talent Development, as you operate throughout the group you’ll identify learning needs and opportunities, including leadership development, technical training, and soft skills enhancement
Assessment & Evaluation, You’ll measure the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for continuous improvement using various tools eg Kirtkpatricks, Surveys, Learning Management System Analytics, Behavioural Observation, 360 feedback, ROI analysis
Stakeholder Collaboration, with site based coordinators who will be maintaining training matrices and with department heads you’ll partner to assess training needs and create tailored learning solutions
Coaching & Mentoring, you’ll coaching employees to help them grow
Learning Technology, you’ll oversee and manage the learning management system (LMS) to track training progress and deliver content efficiently
3rd Party Providers, you’ll source, assess and onboard and manage external training expertise where needed
What are we looking for?
Qualified training qualification experienced in or similar and / or experience in training and development, training, or related roles with a strong understanding of T&D best practice, adult learning principles, and detailed course design
Exemplary communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
The ability to assess training effectiveness and ROI, reporting and presenting to board level
Strong project management and organisational skills
Proficiency with TMS, LMS platforms and e-learning tools
