Station assistants - Parr Train Station

We are looking for reliable and flexible individuals to join our team for temporary cover during the festive period at Parr train station. Duties will include:

. Meeting and greeting our customers as they enter and leave our station

Supporting customers needing assistance
Ensuring the safety of the station environment
Providing a friendly and personable service. Luggage support

Pay rate: £13.45

Dates

22nd December 2026 to 23rd December 2026

27th December 2026 to 28th December 2026

You must be available to commit to all required dates to be considered for this role.

Shift Times

Various AM and PM shifts are available, examples:

08:00 - 14:00
14:00 - 22:00Additional shift patterns may be available depending on operational requirements.

Have a professional, but fun approach to your work.

Love working as part of a team, but able to work independently too.
Have first class interpersonal skills.
Love the buzz of a busy environment, be able to keep your cool under pressure.
Be safety conscious - able to spot and anticipate risk.

Assisting customers with travel information and general enquiries.
Supporting passengers who require additional assistance.
Helping customers locate replacement bus services.
Maintaining a safe station environment.
Providing a friendly, professional and approachable service at all times.Essential Requirements

Applicants must:

Be aged 18 years or over.
Be physically fit and capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
Hold a valid Right to Work in the UK.
Have good spoken English and clear communication skills.
Be able to commit to all required working dates.
Be reliable, punctual and professional.Railway Safety Requirements
