The Role:

• Deliver engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on your experience and expertise.


• Foster a respectful and open-minded learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring a wide range of religious and non-religious worldviews.


• Encourage critical thinking, ethical reasoning, and respectful dialogue about complex issues related to religion, philosophy, and belief.


• Contribute to the development and implementation of a rich and diverse RE curriculum that reflects the multicultural nature of society.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them develop their understanding of religious and philosophical concepts.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Religious Education.


• A proven track record of successful teaching and learning outcomes in RE or related subjects.


• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.


• A passion for RE and a commitment to promoting understanding and tolerance of different beliefs and values.
