Role Overview:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate or Junior Health & Safety professional to join a well-established organisation with strong community roots. Supporting an experienced H&S team, you'll help drive safety improvements and promote high standards across the business.

Working closely with senior leaders and Health & Safety professionals, you'll receive excellent training, development and mentoring, making this an ideal opportunity for someone with the right attitude, enthusiasm and desire to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:

Support the development and implementation of health and safety strategies across the business.
Assist with risk assessments, identify opportunities to reduce risk, and produce reports recommending improvements.
Carry out site inspections to check policies and procedures are being executed correctly on sites in ours.
Keep records of any inspections findings or accidents on site and produce statistics for managers
Partake in-house training with site management/staff about health and safety issues and risks
Ensure equipment is installed safely
After time provide advice on a range of specialist areas such as: fire regulations, noise & safe use of machinery

You will keep yourself up to date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all Health and Safety legislation and any developments that affect our industry.
