Handyman Wanted – Student Accommodation | Highfield, Sheffield

Highfield, Sheffield (S2) | £[rate]/hr | 8 hours a day | Start: 05/10/2026

CNX Recruitment is looking for a reliable, all-round handyman for maintenance work on a student accommodation building in Sheffield.

What you'll be doing:

* General repairs and maintenance across flats, bedrooms and communal areas

* Fixing and adjusting doors, locks, handles, hinges and closers

* Patching and repairing walls, ceilings and skirting

* Painting and decorating touch-ups between tenancies

* Minor plumbing (leaking taps, toilets, shower heads, blocked sinks)

* Replacing light bulbs, fittings and other minor electrical items, within your competence

* Assembling, repairing and moving furniture

* Fitting blinds, curtain rails, shelves and noticeboards

* Sealant and silicone work in kitchens and bathrooms

* Flooring repairs and small tiling jobs

* Working through a job list and keeping the site safe and tidy

What you need:

* Proven handyman or multi-skilled maintenance experience

* Your own hand tools

* Able to work on your own and manage your day

* Professional and respectful, as residents may be on site
