The role will be hands onsite full time. As a Hardware Specialist at our Christchurch location, your responsibilities will include: · Bridging the gap between Production Engineering and Design Engineers . When business-related technical challenges arise, Hardware Specialists get involved to resolve them with a minimum disruption to manufacturing or design engineering. This requires broad-based engineering skills, though the position is principally electronics based. · Obsolescence Engineering, Technical Specialists get involved in all aspects of Obsolescence Engineering, including report writing and checking and technical analysis of replacement parts.
