The Dermatology Partnership (Everything Skin – Cheadle), part of Bupa Health Services, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to take on a 12-month supervisory secondment within a permanent HCA role, offering both career development and the chance to contribute to the leadership of our clinic.

About the Role
You’ll begin as a Healthcare Assistant, supporting our consultant dermatologists with clinical procedures and patient care. For the first 12 months, you’ll also take on supervisory responsibilities, helping to lead the clinic team and support day-to-day operations alongside the Practice Manager.

After the secondment, the role will return to a standard HCA position, though further opportunities may arise with the expansion of our second site.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Clinical Duties:

• Assisting with dermatological procedures (MOHS, excisions, biopsies)


• Venesection, wound care, dressing changes, and stitch removal


• Maintaining infection control and clinical standards


• Stock management and daily clinic checks

Supervisory Duties (12-month secondment):

• Supporting diary and rota management


• Leading reception and clinical support teams


• Ensuring smooth patient journeys and high standards of service


• Assisting with training, audits, and operational improvements


• Acting as a point of contact for patient queries and complaints

What We’re Looking For:

• Care Certificate or equivalent qualification


• Strong interest or background in dermatology


• Excellent communication and teamwork skills


• Previous supervisory experience (desirable)


• Passion for patient care and service excellence


• Understanding of CQC and clinical governance standards
