A specialist firm based in Oldham, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Housing Disrepair Fee Earner to join its growing litigation team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking practice with a strong reputation in claimant housing work.

The Role

As a Housing Disrepair Fee Earner, you will manage your own caseload of litigated and pre-litigated HDR claims from inception to settlement. You'll work closely with clients to ensure their housing issues are addressed effectively and that they receive the compensation and repairs they are entitled to.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing a caseload of HDR claims under a CFA

Drafting letters of claim, witness statements, and court documents

Liaising with experts, counsel, and third parties

Negotiating settlements and progressing claims through the litigation process

Ensuring compliance with court deadlines and procedural rules

About You

The ideal candidate will:

Have experience handling housing disrepair claims, ideally in a claimant-focused environment

Be confident managing a caseload independently

Possess strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules

Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail

Demonstrate strong client care and communication skills

Be comfortable working in a target-driven environment

Experience with Proclaim or similar case management systems would be an advantage.
