The Hotel

The hotel is located in a stunning setting overlooking the South Downs yet close to Gatwick and London. therefore attracting a mix of business and leisure gUsers. Beautifully restored period function rooms can hosts between 20 and 180 diners, with ample outside function space as well. The restaurants in this 5 Red Star property hold 2 and 3 Rosettes, so the same high standard will be expected for events. The property is part of a small, award winning, privately owned group which is very much food focussed and offers outstanding career opportunities for chefs.

Working as a Banqueting Head Chef

In this role you will be running a £multi-million food business to the highest of culinary standards. You will be responsible for delivering the food element of over 100 high profile events each year. Leading a dedicated brigade of 6 chefs from your own section of the state of the art kitchen you should be calm under pressure, extremely well organised and creative with an eye for detail. It’s a very different challenge to running restaurant service.
