Our client is looking for an experienced and compassionate Head Chef to lead the culinary team at a care facility. Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  
• Develop and prepare meals that cater to various dietary requirements, including medical conditions and preferences
  
• Ensure that all meals are prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations
  
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs effectively
  
• Train, supervise, and support kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
  
• Collaborate with care staff to understand and accommodate the nutritional needs of residents
  
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained
  
• Stay informed about best practices in nutrition and dietary care, particularly for older adults
