Head chef

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

Location: Skipton

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen within a well-established golf club operation. This role would suit a strong kitchen leader who enjoys working with fresh food, managing a small team, and delivering high standards across both day-to-day service and functions.

The venue operates primarily daytime hours, offering a much-improved work-life balance compared to many hospitality roles, although weekend work is required as part of the operation.

The Role

• Leading a small kitchen team in a busy fresh food environment


• Managing day-to-day kitchen operations


• Maintaining high food quality and consistency


• Menu planning and stock management


• Ensuring food hygiene and health & safety standards are met


• Supporting hospitality and event catering when required

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Head Chef or experienced Senior Sous Chef ready to step up


• Strong fresh food background


• Ability to lead and motivate a small team


• Good organisational and kitchen management skills


• Banqueting or event catering experience would be highly beneficial


• A driver would be ideal due to location


• Must be flexible to work weekends
