PPM Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Head Chef to join our client's team.

Position: Head Chef
Pay Rate: £21.29 inc Holiday
Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Type: Permanent

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Head Chef to lead the kitchen team and ensure a high standard of food preparation, presentation and service.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the kitchen team on a day-to-day basis
Plan and oversee food preparation and service
Ensure food is prepared and presented to a consistently high standard
Manage stock levels, ordering and kitchen supplies
Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards
Ensure the kitchen is clean, organised and compliant with regulations
Support and train junior members of the kitchen team
Monitor food costs and minimise waste
Work closely with management to deliver an excellent serviceAbout You

Previous experience working as a Head Chef or in a senior kitchen role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations
Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety
Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
Reliable, organised and professionalPay Rate: £21.29 inc Hol per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week
