A great opportunity has arisen for a Head Chef to head up the kitchen in a successful and established customer facing restaurant serving all fresh food daily menus. It will also suit a second/sous chef looking to step up.
You need your own transport to get here.

A massive bonus is that you will work straight day tme shifts only with every other weekend off.

As the Head Chef you will manage every aspect of the kitchen, prepare and cook the company core menu, train and develop your team and control costs,budgets, the GP and wastage.

Role - Head Chef
As Head Chef you will:
Lead the daily operation of the kitchen in a hands on capacity

Monitor stock levels and manage stock orders
Carry out weekly stock count to ensure GP targets are achieved.
Manage the cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards
Plan rotas and holidays to meet service level requirements
Work closely with the Restaurant Manager to achieve the highest and standards, service and sales.

We are looking for:
An experienced Head Chef with the ability to manage a team and significant peaks in service with a background working in restaurants, hotels, pub and catering operations

Friendly, with an engaging personality and a genuine love for customer service.
Strong communicator who can motivate and develop their team to deliver with enthusiasm and great personality.
Knowledgeable in Food Hygiene and Health and Safety requirements.
Commercially aware to achieve sales and profit targets.
Passion for delivering the highest quality food and service.
