This is an extraordinary opportunity for you to lead the culinary team at this restaurant, set to open in an exclusive property. This venue will blend modern and traditional Japanese cooking techniques, offering a unique dining experience that celebrates flavour and culture. The ideal candidate must have high volume, fine dining experience and have worked in Michelin * establishments. A positive attitude and welcoming personality are key here as they navigate the opening of this vibrant fine dining made simple restaurant. Head Chefs Responsibilities: - Daily Kitchen Operations: Oversee daily kitchen activities and collaborate with other Head Chefs to organize resources efficiently. - Menu Development: Work closely with the Executive Chef to create and test new dishes, ensuring they meet the high standards. - Food Preparation: Manage the food preparation process, manning the pass, and refining dishes before they are served. - Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage your kitchen team, fostering a positive and collaborative environment. - Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure the absolute best ingredients at competitive prices. - Health and Safety: Ensure all hygiene and health and safety regulations are met or exceeded. - Guest Interaction: Occasionally step out of the kitchen to interact with guests, enhancing their dining experience
