We're looking for an experienced and motivated Head Cook to lead a kitchen team at a well-loved café in Epsom. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in creating high-quality food, and enjoys the day-to-day rhythm of a busy kitchen.

About the Role:

As Head Cook, you'll take full ownership of kitchen operations - from crafting delicious, seasonal menus to leading a small, skilled team. You'll ensure food is consistently fresh, well-presented, and served to the highest standard. You'll also play a key role in maintaining a positive kitchen culture, where organisation and efficiency go hand-in-hand with creativity and passion.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Leading the kitchen day-to-day and ensuring service runs smoothly.
• Developing fresh, seasonal, and crowd-pleasing menus.
• Managing ordering, stock control, and kitchen costs efficiently.
• Maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards.
• Training and supporting a small kitchen team.
• Collaborating with the front-of-house team to deliver a great customer experience.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in a senior kitchen role - Head Chef, Sous Chef, or similar.
• Comfortable managing kitchen staff and operations.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Passion for creating fresh, wholesome food that's made with care.
• A hands-on leader with a calm and professional approach.
• Up-to-date knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
