An exceptional opportunity for a passionate and experienced Head Gardener to join a warm, well-run private estate in a beautiful National Park location in Hampshire.
You’ll be responsible for the care and ongoing development of 25 acres of formal and informal gardens, woodland, ponds, kitchen gardens and paddocks, supported by a small, capable team. The estate is lovingly maintained to a high standard but offers a calm, respectful working environment with plenty of autonomy and a genuine pride in the landscape.
The principals are in residence for just 2 months of the year, so the majority of your time will be focused on garden development, planting plans, propagation, and ongoing improvement projects, ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership and having room for creativity.
Key requirements:

• Previous private estate experience
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and woodland management
• Strong horticultural skills and excellent attention to detail
• Good team spirit and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Relevant qualifications for use of pesticides/chainsaw etc
• Non-smoker with excellent references

Hours: Monday-Friday 08:30-17:00, with flexibility during July & August (6-day weeks during residence periods).

Single accommodation available if required.
