Key Responsibilities:

• Set high expectations and drive continuous improvement within the Art department.


• Analyse student performance data in Art and implement strategies for maximizing progress.


• Lead the development and implementation of effective assessment practices in Art.


• Line manage and support the professional growth of Art teachers.


• Ensure the department adheres to school policies and procedures.


• Contribute to the school's self-evaluation and improvement planning.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• Degree in Fine Art or a related subject.


• Significant and successful experience teaching Art at secondary level, with proven leadership outcomes.


• Strong understanding of data analysis and target setting in Art.


• Excellent organizational, strategic planning, and implementation skills.
